With over a decade of experience in social work, counselling, and community advocacy, Mahe specializes in supporting diverse, multi-barrier populations. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Waterloo and a PhD from the University of Surrey, UK. Mahe is the recipient of the Town and Gown Award for Community Engagement and the Norma Brown Award for Professionally Trained Women in Social Work. She is an active member of the BC Association of Social Workers.
Mahe offers counselling services to children, youth, adults, couples, and families, addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, OCD, and pain management. She integrates culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Family Systems Therapy (FST), employing solution-focused, client-centred practices tailored to individual needs.
Her counselling style incorporates a holistic, bio-psychosocial-spiritual approach that promotes resilience and empowerment. Mahe is committed to lifelong learning, professional ethics, and creating a safe, respectful environment where clients can heal and thrive.
Counselling availability: Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, both in-person and online.

Francesca Brambilla

Francesca obtained her Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Tor Vergata University in Rome, specializing in cognitive-communication rehabilitation for adults with acquired brain injury.
She has worked as a Speech Language Pathologist in Italy for over 10 years, in both public health and private settings, gaining experience in assessing and treating pediatric and adult clients affected by various speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders.
Since her arrival to Canada in 2018, Francesca pursued her career in Speech-Language Pathology by volunteering at different clinics and associations in the lower mainland, until she attained full license as a Speech-Language Pathologist from the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC.
Her sincere passion for voice and singing led her to attend several courses and trainings on voice disorders and to learn some of the most successful and effective methods to treat them (Voicecraft, Proel, Lee Silverman Voice Therapy, Neira Method).

Chris is dedicated to the career of Speech-Language Pathology to enact meaningful change in the lives of clients and families. To achieve this, he believes in designing treatment that reflects the interests of each client and continuously incorporates feedback to individualize treatment through ongoing collaboration with caregivers and team members. She finds great joy in working with children and embraces the unique relationships that she forms with her clients and their families. Queeny has experience working with a range of pediatric speech, language, and social communication delays and disorders in a variety of settings including public health, school, private practice, home environments, and teletherapy. Her clinical interests include early language development, bilingualism, developmental language disorder, speech sound disorders, autism, literacy, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Queeny offers diagnostic and therapeutic services that are person-centred and neurodiversity affirming. Ina obtained her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of British Columbia. Since then, she has continued to work with both paediatric and adult clients through in-person sessions and via teletherapy. Ina enjoys working with a diversity of clients, targetting areas of intervention including voice therapy, speech sound disorders, early language development, and the use of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) systems for complex communicators. Ina is RASP certified and has additional training in TalkTools.
Ina is an advocate for evidence-based practices, and continues to engage in continuing education courses to better support her clients in achieving their goals of better health, communication, and quality of life. Ina also supports the SpeechEase team through mentorship and training of the SLP assistants.
Ina believes that everyone has the right to communicate, and she is dedicated to providing client-centred services by collaboratively creating functional and personal goals that support and enhance clients’ current abilities. For her, this means identifying strategies that can be incorporated by the clients’ team (and family) and providing education/coaching for the family.

Speech Language Pathologist
Raela obtained her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of British Columbia. She works with paediatric and school-aged clients in person and through online services. Raela believes that connection and playfulness are foundational for learning, and is passionate about working collaboratively with clients and their families.
Raela is a RASP certified SLP and believes in supporting autistic clients and their families through a neurodiversity affirming lens - focusing on the whole person, including their strengths, interests, and sensory needs. She is experienced at providing support to implement augmentative and alternative communication systems (AAC). She also applies principles of gestalt language processing to her approach.
Raela’s other areas of experience include working with children with ADHD, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) and other speech sound disorders, language delays and disorders, and fluency disorders (stuttering).
